I deposited a check of189 dollars to my bank account. i checked it online when i got home and it says +89.00!?

Check to see if there is a "hold" for the $100.  

Depending on your bank, they may allow you access to "some" of the money when you deposit the check but not the full amount until it clears (check your receipt as well, it will usually show this).

If not, take your receipt back to the bank tomorrow and show them.

This may be a temporary memo post to your account to show the deposit. This typically corrects itself. Wait for one full business day to pass. If the deposit still says only 89.00, then take your receipt to the bank and tell them.

you might have accidently entered (if on ATM) 89.00 instead of 189.00. this has happened to me before and i went to my bank to see what would be done about it and they said they go over all checks that are deposited to make sure its the right amount. so the problem will definatly be fixed.

My guess is that you were overdrafted in the first place.  The best solution:  talk directly to your bank.  Hopefully it was just a clerical error.
