i'm 16, so bored these days, constantley online to the point where i can type without looking and super fast due to practise.. im ashamed about how much i'm online! I also need to take my mind off of alot of things, as my mind is constantley clogged up at the moment, im convinced its depression of some sort...

I just need something to do with my days, lots of my friends do horseriding, i've tried it, i wasnt interested.

I dont get alot of money, would be nice to make some, just cant get any jobs at the moment as everyones going for jobs everywhere its.. impossible.. anyway I need some ideas of some hobbys I can do.. if you can just suggest some, would be nice to see if theres any thing i could actually grow to.. and wouldnt mind something a bit unusual...

thanks in advance.

  1. here are some fun things i like- gymnastics, scrapbookmaking, drawing, swimming, painting, reading ( A good book for your age is the Clique Series that would keep you busy- it keeps my sis busy)  Hope this helps!!  Oh yea and cooking and baking is reallyyy fun!!

  2. You can try playing hacky sack. it's a fun game where you have a bean bag and you have to kick it around without it hitting the ground or using your hands. they are sold at places like Hot Topic. it's only like 4 dollars so that takes care of your money problem plus they last a long time

  3. I like gardening and knitting.

  4. Try some crafts! For example cross-stitching is easy, cheap, creative, and great fun too! Suits even for those awful rainy days...

  5. Why don't you try the following:

*take a sewing class...who knows - in the long run you could design your own clothes!

    *Try knitting or crotechting (spelling?)

*Make jewlery. Schwarzchi cyrstals are so pretty in the form of a bracelet.

*Rearrange your room - change can be good

    * Go to your local library and find some good books. (Mystery/Romance: Dee Henderson.

Historical Fiction: Michael Phillips - some books by Christian authors that I really enjoy)

*Get a paint by number and paint away

*Get a babysitting or dogsitting job

    * Take a sport such as Soccor, Tennis, swimming, volleyball or dance...

  6. GO to a craft store or a hobby store and look around and see what you can find I am sure something will jump out at you. Try a few things and see what you like and you might find something that might make you a good extra income.

    good luck

  7. Start belly dancing!  Look on Youtube for inspiration, put on some music and get going!  There are even some instructional videos on Youtube to help you get the right moves.  Once you're into it, there's no going back, it keeps you fit and gives you confidence. I've been doing it years and have met loads of friends.  Because of it I've also learned to make my own bead jewellry and make my own costumes, (if you start performing these things can be expensive, but for now, just grab a scarf and tie it around your hips and you're off!)

  8. I like to quilt.  Its really pretty easy.  You can either do it by hand or by machine.  Check out  http://www.appliquequiltdesigns.com.

There are instructions on how to make traditional quilt blocks and baby quilts, as well as reviews of other quilt books.  Check out the Specialty Book Review page for ideas of other books that show you how to make quilted tote bags, place mats, wall hangings, plus other small quilted projects.

  9. how about trying prestamped, cross stitch.  I do personally the baby & lap quilts.

  10. Sewing, Tennis, Biking, Swimming, Gardening

They should take your mind off of the

    Internet for quite a bit.

  11. Hey!  Take up photography, it's the coolest thing EVER!

  12. ok i'll try to be of help as i am currently in the same situation but i have experience.

If your really girly then maybe go to an all female youth club night or try dancing lessons. if your up for something new i would recomend trying air or sea cadets, it may sound wierd but i know alot of girls who love to go.

try college clubs or school clubs.

if your up for a job maybe you could look around town or try waitressing (always vacancies) in a hotel or tea room. get a weekend job in a clothes store maybe.

i hope this wasn't completely pointless.

  13. I started quilting when I was 14. If you don't have the money for fabric use some old clothes. you will have to come up with money for the batting and back unless you use an old sheet for the back. once you make one you can sell it on ebay and use the profit to make more. it is a great stress relieving hobby. I personally prefer hand quilting so it won't require buying a machine.

  14. I can vouch for the person that said photography, it's cheap, it's interesting and it's cool. You might also take up cycling, I love that too, walking, going to the park - and camping too. You can always go to the public library and kill some time, I love libraries.

  15. try lanyard

  16. How about doing a jigsaw puzzle? They are quite affordable and provide a low-tech way to unwind and relax. You can work them alone or with a friend. They keep your brain in shape and improve skills in problem solving, dimensional thinking, logic and of patience.
