hi guys, this is a bit complicated matter, and need professional advice if you can

i did a contract marriage in cyprus, and got tourist visa from cyprus to britian, then i went back to pakistan and came to britian on student visa, (remember in both applications i filled up the visa form as married) now i want to marry a british girl (a real marriage), do you think i should get a divorce paper from that fake marriage and then marry in real, or do i not need to,

as i am not sure,

once i get married to british i will need to apply in immigration office to extend my stay in britian, do you think they will check the history of my all visits to britian and find out that i already told them i was already married?

do you think they will check my marital status on my new marriage certificate and will match the information on my previous visa applications i gave them while getting the entries to britian,

if you are lawyer pls mail me at namughalz@hotmail.com so i can go through you

  1. They will match your information if what you are asking is true.

The way you write implies that you are not from where you say you are.

  2. If the person you married while in Cyprus was a Cypriot citizen or a citizen of another EU country, then you can enter the UK with your partner under a EEC family permit. But since you are going to divorce your partner, you will not be able to apply for one and if you did they would have to move to the UK with you and it would become invalid once you got divorced.

You could enter the UK under a tourist visa and then get married and apply for a visa extension on the ground s of your marriage. If you are successful then you can stay within the UK indefinately, as long as you are married. But you will have to prove your marriage isn't a sham and isn't just you trying to gain residency. This will be extremely hard as you started this relationship while married and because of the short gap between your marriages.

They will find out that you were previously married and you will need to divorce before getting married. They will also check you past visits to the UK.

  3. You can get residency in Cyprus which is an EU country anyway and live in Britain.

If you marry a Brit...yes they check your passport and previous marriages.

By the way, people like you are horrid, this hinders genuine marriages from obtaining residency.
