Does it state anywhere on there if I chose to have the rebate check automatically deposited or mailed? Do you know where can I find that?

  1. If you had a refund on the original tax return, supplied your bank information *and* paid for any transmitting fees using a debit or credit card, then and only then will the rebate come directly to your bank account.

Check your bank records.  Does it say "US TREASURY 220" as the refund source?

  2. If you were going to get one by direct deposit, you would have gotten it almost a month ago.  You just be on the paper check schedule ... http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180... ... if you are going to get one.

  3. 95% of people who used TurboTax will get a paper rebate check.  See other questions and answers on this answer site.

If the IRS actually had your bank account information and you got your refund direct deposited into your bank account using TurboTax there is probably a 50/50 chance you will get your rebate direct deposited - but most direct deposit rebates have already been sent out.

If the IRS sent your refund to a TurboTax bank account - so that TurboTax could deduct your fees, or give you a refund anticipation loan or rapid refund or something - then the IRS did not have your bank account and will be issuing you a paper rebate check.
