I did my tax on 20th april 2008...when i will get my first gst credit cheqe? i mean what month?

becaz now is june....and i did not get any gst tax credit?,.,,,,is it too late?????? or what? could you help me???

you filed late for one thing, so don;t expect the refund for 8-12 weeks after you filed and months after that for the rebate

Dear Friend,

If you filed your income tax in April 2008, that will be based on your 2007 income.  The GST credit will be counted from 1st July 2008 to 30 jun 2009.  So you will get your first GST somewhere in the middle or late July this year.  Hope it will help.  Thanks.

The first payment is in July.  Did you apply for it when you did your tax return?  You should have been sent an assessment with this information from CRA.
