I did file taxes and had a return sent to me via direct deposit. I did however move from DC to VA since my taxes were filed. Though I have changed my address with the DMV and my new address was on my tax info online. Does this move make a difference in when my stimulus check will come? If I dont rec the initial letter, does it mean I am not getting the money at all?

  1. If you changed bank accounts when you moved, you will probably get your check in the mail instead of direct deposit.

The link has the dates for when the checks will go out. They are running about 1 week ahead of schedule. :)

  2. the checks are sent first to all direct deposit accounts. the next are sent according to the last two numbers of your ssi.

  3. Not everyone gets a letter.  Blame the US Mail...Snail Mail.

  4. Since you left DC, you won't get a check now.

It goes to Marion Barry's 'sniff' fund.

God bless that poor man. He needs help.

  5. I have a feeling that many of the stimulus checks will get 'lost'.
