  1. you're screwed, a system restore erases everything and brings your computer back to how it was when it left the factory, which means only the programs and files that came with the computer, anything you ever put on there is now gone and will never come back.  i'm sorry i'm not more compassionate, cause it does suck, but you should have read all the instructions before you restored your comp and backed up all your files.

  2. Can you go into windows? Or do you have a botton with back up?. Some laptops such as HP,lenovo have a one bottom recovery I do my everyday stuff on the laptop with it. I have a Lenovo with Thinkvantage meaning thinking something good. It helped me recovery all my dates, from a BSOD. Lenovo are the cheap ones, but also most trusted one. If you have windows vista , but not home basic (better one) like vista business that your in luck. Go to welcome center than click on show all items than go to back up and restore center.

  3. System restore is NOT the proper way to handle a virus...but I might be able to help you recover SOME files.

You are NOT doomed, and NOTHING besides exes are deleted...the guy above me obviously has no idea what he's saying.

Go to http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ and download their software.

You can find a pirated version at sites like btjunkie.com for free,as this is a trial.

If you need ANY help,or want it free, mail me.

  4. again restore to the current date or the date when u restore it. kardevi143@yahoo.co.in

  5. Hi!

Did you do a complete factory reset, or a windows system restore. If you have done the factory reset then sorry, there is no way to get your files back unless you have them on back up. But if you have done the windows restore then all you need to do is open it up again and choose "Undo my last restoration" and it will be just like before.
