I didn't know where to post this...sorry?

I want to get a name thing, like where you hang it up over your babies crib. Either it be wood or cloth...but the big letters. The only thing I can find is on Ebay, and they want like 7 dollars a letter...which I thought was kind of crazy. But I can't figure out where else to look or I don't have any other ideas to look up.

I just want a cute way to spell out my daughters name to put up in her nursery!

Thanks!

(Sorry if its in the wrong section...I wasn't sure where to put it otherwise. I thought mommies might have a good idea for me!)

  1. an arts and crafts store :]

  2. If you go to Wal-Mart or Target, they usually have wooden letters in the crafts dept. You could paint those in some cute colors~!

If not, you could always glue the letters (minified, of course) to some fabric and then nail it to your wall like a banner but where you can see her name. Maybe even make it a mobile! =D

I hope you find somehting soon!

  3. A craft store or Babies R us has them in the bedding section

  4. You can look at Michael's, they have wooden letters in the art section. They can be painted or embellished with other things.

  5. Check local arts and craft store you can make one yourself.

  6. Wal Mart or Target.....any of those big chain stores carry the letters in the arts and crafts section.

  7. Try ebay. They have lots of people who make stuff like that. I have seen some really cute ones. They can be colored and personalized just about anyway you want.

  8. Try Micheal's or JoAnns fabrics.

This site is affliated with Hobby Lobby. This is where we bought our son's letters for up above his crib. We painted them together and then my husband hung them up.

ETA: Here is a link to all the wood letters in this size;http://www.craftsetc.com/store/departmen...

  11. Try scrapbook stores to see if they may have something, or if you have Michael's stores where you live they might be a good bet.

  12. Pottery Barn for Kids has some really cute stuff but they of course can get pretty pricey.  I found plain white letters at Target on Clearance about a year ago and it was $1/letter so I bought what they had left for my daughter's name and my sister managed to find some at a Target up by her (in another State) and mailed the remaining letters to me then I decorated them myself and put them up.  I haven't really looked at Target this year for something like that but definitely check it out, you never know!
