  1. If the child you claimed was under age 17, as of the end of 2007, you should get an extra $300. Your return probably had an error regarding this child, but the IRS has identified these returns and is fixing them automatically and sending out additional checks - you should get yours in the next few weeks.     But read the letter you got in late June or early July, or enter your info at https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/irfof/IRServlet... and check whether it shows zero for your qualifying child. It is possible that you were entitled to $300 for yourself, not the maximum $600, so the amount you got did include the $300 for your child.


  2. if you have more than two kids you wont get it for the 3rd and so on.u only get it for 2 kids!

  3. my friend didn't get hers either til much later.  she didn't have to do anything.  she got 2 checks.

  4. Nothing.  The child tax credit is not on your stimulus check.

    If you filed your tax return properly, you claimed it on your tax return.
