Ravi Rampaul, the 27-year-old new-ball bowler from Trinidad, was the star performer for the tourists with the bat in the second ODI of the five-match series played at Vigaz on Friday when he struck a magnificent unbeaten 86 to create a new world record
for the highest score by a number 10 batsman in the history of One-Day cricket.
"I didn't surprise myself. I am a capable batsman and have done well down the order,” said Rampaul while talking to the media reporters at the post-match media conference. “I just played my natural game and it came off. It's one of those days when
everything has gone my way," he added further.
