  1. I am enjoying the way that a few people have posted mimetic poems on here in the last few weeks.

    I think the same rules apply in mimetic poetry as in the regular stuff (other things being equal), so I wasn't comfortable with 'w***e' - it seems to me archly archaic (like finding 'hath' or 'eftsoons' in a poem).

    That wasn't a deal-breaker though: apart from that small but real irritation I thought the piece asked more questions than it answered. Nearly always a good thing.

    As usual there is one forced, superficial line, at least seemingly.

    It is the fourth one. Other than that its good, with a conclusion to be proud of.
