Ok i have a muscle problem in my left eye, and it's kind of bad,

I got glasses two years ago, and i didn't wear them.

Do you think i'll have to get surgery, or just actually wear my glasses this time?

I'm going to the eye doctor this wedensday

  1. Wear ur glasses unless u enjoy headaches

  2. wear the glasses already, every day. unless of course you prefer surgery or being cross-eyed

  3. I had two eye surgeries for strabismus (eye muscle problems), was patched, and prescribed eyeglasses with a prism correction. The eyeglasses gave me horrible headaches and made me feel horrible when I wore them so I obviously did not wear them.  I ended up doing vision therapy and that worked better than all the other treatments that I tried.  My eye are still not quite normal and I still experience some double vision and depth perception problems, but they are better than they were when I started being treated for it.

If you have eye muscle problems there are a variety of treatment options and surgery is one of them.  There is no way to know if the eyeglasses would have worked anyways and the doctor may not prescribe them again and may go with something else.  Vision therapy worked best for me.

    Good Luck!

  4. You need to wear your glasses, the reason for that is because you want your eyes to focus. Surgery might be a way to go but it's kinda expensive. Wear your glasses and follow what the doctors says this time
