  1. what state do you live in?

  2. How did they find out?

Where i live people buy it by the month - when they have to renew plates they merely purchase one months' insurance so as to be covered.

If they're doing year long checks on people I like that law

I agree with everyone else - buy a bike - admit you messed up.

  3. Yes, you can give the plates back and not drive that car for 349 days, then you can go back and register the car and get plates.  That's what happens when you don't have insurance as required by law.

  4. Return the plates, Sell the car, and buy a bike. If you can't follow a simple rule like "buy insurance", what does a speed limit or stop sign mean to you? You are going to kill someone someday. Hope they are insured.

  5. Yes there is something you can do. Give the plates back and wait 349 days to register the car.You broke the rules and now you want them to change the rules just for you.  People who have no insurance should never be able to drive as it makes the rates higher for those of use who have insurance.......UJN

  6. Under your condition,I advise here for you to have a visit.
