  1. Not turning over ? do you mean the battery is dead ? I hope you didn't have it out in the freezing cold with water in the block - if so you better go speak to your bank manager

  2. It is hard to say, since you did not say where you are, but try taking the battery out and charging it up, and then try to start the engine again.

I hope that you have learned your lesson about winterizing your boat.

    Regards,

    Dan

  3. Empty gas tank fill with new . Check oil  then try to start it . How cold did it get where you live ? If it got down to freezing then you might have to take it to boat shop to get engine clean out sometimes all it is is old leave and debree . I say it might cost you around 200 depending where you live .

  4. Hard to say because you dont state where your at. But your answer could be both yes/no. You do mention winterizing so I assume you live where it gets cold. You do not give alot of details here but when you say it will not turn over that could be because the battery is dead, that is if you left the battery in the boat. Remove battery, charge it and try again. If this turns out to be the problem then, once you get the engine running, check for water leaks, indicating a cracked block. Seeing that I assume you didnt drain the water out of the block as well. If charging the battery didnt fix it then most likely your in big trouble. That indicates you have a locked up engine. How severe the condition is I cant tell you. But you can try this. Remove all spark plugs. Spray WD-40 in the holes. Spray quite a bit. Enough to cover the tops of each piston. Install the plugs back in and let sit for a couple of days. After that remove the plugs and try and turn over the engine. Depending on how much rust is in the cylinder that may and may not break it loose. LEAVE the plugs out while doing this because if it does break loose and turn over WD-40 like water WILL NOT compress. If this does not work then most likely you will have to have the engine rebuilt.
