Or at least make my gums healthier. And for all you out there that are going to answer "dip is worse than smoking", don't answer please. I have 2 cousins at Harvard medical school, who both study oral health, and they agree that smoking is much worse, and its been proven scientifically too. I'm underage for dip, so i don't want my family suspecting it, so how do i work on my gums and reverse receeding.

  1. She's right, there really is not much you can do.  You have to stop, the dip eats away at your gums, there is no other way to reverse it.  Good Luck

  2. Hey Dr. Albert. Ever tried pressing the 'Caps Lock' key?

But to answer your question all you need to do is rotate (Switch dip from left, to right, to center, each time you dip. Or you could use pouches because they don't have fiber-glass in them which causes the receding problem.

Oh and thanks for the 10 points in advance :)

  3. Stop dipping is the only way. Once your gums recede, I don't think there's no going back. If you don't want the damage to worsen, stop using all together.

  4. JOE,

DID YOU EVER WONDER WHY THE GUMS RECEDE IN THE FIRST PLACE?

BECAUSE THE SUPPORTING BONE Holding THEM UP IS ALSO RECEDING.

    WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?

THE SKOAL IS  VERY ABRASIVE IN ITS MIX AND THIS IS HARMFUL TO THE GUMS.

I'M SURPRISED YOUR "EDUCATED" COUSINS DIDN'T KNOW THIS.
