My parents told me about 2 rare fruit trees. They ate the fruit from it when they were little in sri lanka. there are actually two of them one is called "billing" and the other is called "namina" but i dont think anyone has ever recorded its existence. From what i know there are only about 13 trees each of their kind in the world. I just wanted it to be studied so that it doesn't go extinct maybe it'll even be commercialized? who knows. How would i go about getting it recorded by herbologists or whoever records and names newfound plants?

  1. Contact a local botanist or university, tell them what you know and they can tell you what more you can do or if they know about it at all.

    Good luck

  2. http://www.floridata.com/index.cfm  This is a really good site for all plants. They will answer questions and provide technical info. What does the fruit taste like?
