  1. Hey Cassie,

Sorry to hear you're having some family hassles, but glad you are loving your racing.

If you posted this question in "family and relationships" you might get a better responce as people there may know more about how to cope with parental problems.

  2. i understand when u say u love the sport because both of my boys love the sport.  now if u have 2 live with mom because u were in trouble at dads house i would say mom is right...no motor cross but if u live with mom and she is not letting u ride just because she does not like it then i would say make other arrangements. if u live with mom and she just for no reason wants to be involved but allows your dad to continue being your support then i would say ride.  make good choices no matter what!!!!!!

  3. I would say stay in school a bit longer. Learn to use capital letters from time to time, May be a few commers would be better then 4 full stops.

    Just a thought.

  4. My son who is 12 is so passionate about the sport, its his life and I would never take anything away from him that means so much to him. If he is happy then so am I. I am in a similar situation where I am divorced from his dad, he doesnt agree with motorbikes, but mind you he bought my kids their first pee wee 50, try and figure that one out!!! Anyway my sons dad has tried stopping him from doing what he loves most and has succeeded a couple of times. But I figure my son is old enough to make some decisions for himself and if he has a meeting coming up he just doesnt go to his dads house a few days before the meeting, that way he cant stop him from doing what he loves. We live in the same town and share the kids 50/50. You are 16 and old enough to make your own decisions, you have needs and wants just like everyone else. Your mum is being selfish in trying to stop you doing something that you are obviously very passionate about. I am unsure of your situation but assume you are still having contact with your dad if that is the case perhaps its something that the two of you can share together. I wish you all the very best and hope your situation turns out positive for everyone. Good Luck Hon
