I have several reasons not to drink wine.

1) It is against my Faith to drink alcohol

2) It is relatively expensive

3) It is an acquired taste (speaking of alcohol-free ones)

4) It is possible to get the same anti-cancer effects from many fruit juices as one gets from red wine.

5) I have seen first-hand what it can do.  My ex-spouse is an alcoholic, which is why she is an ex.
