  1. You should go to the doctor if you are worried about it, he/she'll be able to take a quick fetal heartbeat and put your mind at ease about it. Try counting kicks in the future. My husband is an OB/GYN and he has his patients count kicks and make sure they feel them at least once every 2 hours just to be on the safe side, but that's usually later on in the pregnancy, closer to the due date. Good luck.

  2. No do not stress yourself it is not good for you or the baby. best wishes

  3. Don't worry, it will make you freak out and stress out! Eat something sugary and see if he/she moves around then. Maybe he/she is just really tired. Sometimes they don't move around for a while. Its nothing to worry about. If your really worried call your doctor.

  4. Symptoms subside around this time so don't worry about that.  No feeling movement is due to your daily activity.  Drink some juice and lay down for an hour.  You should feel baby then. If not, baby may be sleeping so try this again after a few hours.

At this point, unless you are bleeding pink to red, don't worry.

  5. 26-28 weeks is a good time to start monitoring movements with kick counting.  Sometimes baby's have "off" or "down" days like any human and just aren't as active.  But if you're worried, try eating or drinking something sweet and laying down in total silence and be completely still.  You can also call your Dr. anytime you're concerned, that's what they're there for!

There were plenty of days prior to about 24 weeks that I would go 2 days without feeling my baby.  Sometimes I'd call  the Dr., other times I'd let it be because I knew I had been busy that day.  (If you're really active, you won't feel the baby as much, you're movement lulls them to sleep)

  6. I'm 23 weeks and I feel him move every day. I don't think it started happening until 21 or 22 weeks that I felt him move every day.

I wouldn't worry!!! Sometimes even the cold drink/sugary drink trick wouldn't work then - I guess I just couldn't feel his movement!

I started feeling him at 18 weeks.

  7. definatly call your doc....if you want to make sure...eat a piece of candy or drink some orange juice and then lay on your left side.  While laying see if the baby moves then and count how many times it moves for about 1 hr.  If you are really worried then call your doc....it can't hurt to ask questions...and no question is stupid.  That's what the docs are there for!  Good luck and remember to relax.  When your stressing so is the baby.

  8. Babies also have low days. :) at 21 weeks that's not something you should be overly worried about. Besides, it's not good for the both of you. Try buying the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting." It's a big help for pregnant women like us. Good luck! And try drinking lots of orange or apple juice. It'll make the baby active most of the time.

  9. if you have not felt baby in 24 hours i would ring your midwife just to be on the safe side, x*x

  10. lay down and drink a cold glass of water that should wake the baby and you'll definitely feel it move,

  11. No dont worry about it yet. You wont be expected to count fetal movements until around week 28, that is when the baby is usually on a set schedule and you will be feeling them very regularly.
