I don't have a credit card, and I want to burn a vlc video on to a dvd, but the problem is I can only do throe this converter witch has its advertisement that come on screen it was suggested by the good people of yahoo answers can some one pleas help me? (are vlc and divx not the same. why can I burn divx videos and not vlc.) I'm not sure what category I should put this question under.

  1. To reduce the size of the file use DVD Shrink. Then burn with DVD Decrypter, ImgBurn or Nero.

    These programs are completely free, so you don't need a credit card for them. However, I think some of them are trial-free programs. That means you only have a certain number of time to use it for free.
