I do not like the new yahoo homepage why cant i keep my old one?

I just do not like the new my yahoo but i noticed that if i want to keep my old my yahoo the stories do not update. Is this a way for yahoo to make me update to the new my yahoo?

Hello

At the bottom of the new My Yahoo! click the link 'Switch to original My Yahoo!'. On the next page click 'Switch', on the next page click 'Cancel'.  Don't click anything with 'Beta' again until you're ready to come back.  For now you can stay with the old design but you may find the content outdated, not refreshing as often as you would like.  

The Classic Yahoo! will eventually go away and the good news is it's being phased out, permitting folks time to figure out whether they need a new computer or just need updates. Technology is for the masses and you're getting swept along.
