I do not want any yahoo service to start automatically when I start my computer. I have Windows... to preven?

this I go to run - msconfig > start menu and unclick yahoo messenger in the menu... apply and restart.. messenger doesn't automatically start. This is fine. But when I manually start, it automatically clicks start on start up... and we're back were we started.. How do I fix this?? I DONT WANT AUTO START!!

Go to preferences and turn off start up  when windows starts up.  This is a feature that is automatically checked when installed and an average person doesn't know about it.  Most programs are predefined to pin themselves to the start menu causing computers to slow down upon startup.

sign into your messanger click the messanger menu then select preferences from there select the general tab and unclick where it says automaticly start yahoo when i start my computer click save. this should end your problem
