I want to know their economic, education, clmate, life style, job and so on.. and please tell me the university of Tulsa, if you have a wide knowledge of it. Thanks:))

The second-largest city in the state of Oklahoma and 45th-largest in the United States. With an estimated population of 382,872 in 2006, it is the principal municipality of the Tulsa Metropolitan Statistical Area, a region of 897,752 residents projected to reach one million between 2010 and 2012. In 2006, the Tulsa-Bartlesville Combined Statistical Area had a population of 946,993 residents. The city serves as the county seat of Tulsa County, the most densely populated county in Oklahoma.

Located near Tornado Alley, the city frequently experiences severe weather. It is situated on the Arkansas River at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in northeast Oklahoma, a region of the state known as "Green Country." Considered the cultural and arts center of Oklahoma, Tulsa houses two world-renowned art museums, full-time professional opera and ballet companies, and one of the nation's largest concentrations of art deco architecture.In 2005, the city was selected as one of "America's Most Livable Large Cities." People from Tulsa are described as "Tulsans."

Though the oil industry has historically dominated Tulsa's economy, efforts in economic diversification have created a base in the sectors of aerospace, finance, technology, telecommunications, high tech, and manufacturing.

The University of Tulsa is a private, comprehensive university awarding bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is currently ranked 91st among doctoral degree granting universities in the nation by US News and World Report and is listed as one of the "Best 366 Colleges" by the Princeton Review. The university is historically affiliated with the Presbyterian Church USA.
