Latly everytime i eat or drink certain things i feel sick? i get shaky, nausea, and like a drowsy tired feeling kinda like you would feel when you take a pain med, like for example when i ate a bowl of kix cereal or drank some sunkist orange pop or ate half a heath candy bar,i dont eat junk food all the time only every once in a while i do take good care of myself and eat very healthy fruits, veggies three meals a day 8 glasses of water ect...i just like to treat myself everyonce in a while but for some reasoin latly thats how ive been feeling this never happend untill after i gave birth to my son 4 weeks ago, could that have something to do with this? i wasnt diagnosed with gd when i was pg but about a week before i had him the doc office found sugar in my urine, they didnt think nothing of it, my baby was 9lbs 5 0z and he was having a hard time keeping his sugar up,i am also breastfeeding but i breastfed my daughter and never had this prob either so i dont know, what do you think it is

  1. I feel the same exact way. It's actually quite normal and it was genetic for me so ask your mom if maybe she has the same habit. I used to love those little debbie mini cakes. I would eat one and it would be so yummy while eating it, but it wasn't worth facing the consequences. So my cure is that if I eat something sweet I have to eat something not sweet like bread or potato chips to balance it out. Hope this helps.

  2. I am not a doctor, so I don't really feel confident giving you any straightforward answer. If you are very concerned, maybe you should go see the doctor.
