  1. Your skin is a combination.

My skin can be dry if I don't moisturise enough, however the only part of my face that gewasreasy is forehead, like the T-zone.

To prevent skin from being dry - Use a moisturiser, I use Simple Moisteriser avaiable from Boots or Superdrug.

To prevent my skin from being oily - Make sure hair is not greasy, that can effect your skin if you hair brushes past your face a lot. Wash your face in warm water, not too often though, once a day, if you wash too often you start to destroy the natural balance of bacteria which can help to keep it healthy.

To clear up the large pores on your nose .. you described them as very small pimples, use a product such as a nose stip, this can help sort this out and the blackheads.

Clearasil blachhead remover has been advertised, it looks like it does the job.

    Goodluck!

You will have flawless skin in no time.

  2. I think you have the combination skin type. Some parts of your face are dry, and others are oily. Maybe it's all in the face wash. Use a mild or gentle one that is effective at the same time. You could give Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash a try.

And you must already know this, but just in case you don't...make sure you keep your hands off your face because the bacteria can cause pimples!

  3. have you ever thought that could be the weather is dry ? :D

  4. You may want to consider changing your cleanser.  Your cleanser sounds a little too harsh for your skin.  By making your skin dry with your cleanser you are producing more sebum throughout the day (oil) to keep it moist.  It's the body's natural reaction.  You may want to consider trying a facial wash for combination skin and make sure you use a moisturizer.  Look for something oil-free and light in texture.  When choosing a foundation look for something oil free.

Combination skin is normally oily in the t-zone and comfortable to dry in the cheek area.  I have had good results with La Roche-Posay products.  They are very gentle but effective on the skin.  I used the effaclar cleanser for a long while to help with the oil and pimples.  Eventually I switched to the toleraine as the problem with the oil and pimples were gone.  The toleraine cleanser is extremely gentle. (Effaclar and Toleraine are apart of the La Roche-Posay line).  You can buy La Roche-Posay at Shoppers Drug Mart.

You may want to look into Clinique.  Clinique has a three step system you can take a small quiz online to help you figure out which system to use.  Some people find the products good; however, I find I have a reaction to the system.  It is almost to harsh for my skin.

Avene also has great products for combination skin.  You may want to look into those products as well.

I tend to spend a lot on skin products as I have extremely sensitive, highly reactive skin.  The cheap products make my skin problems WORSE!

Remember to wash twice a day, take the make up off at night, and moisturize.  Good Luck....
