I don't get this joke?????

so my friend told me this joke, but i don't get it, and neither does anyone else i have asked, so here it is. . "if a crow has black babies, and a blue bird has blue babies, what does a swallow have?" and don't blame me if it's bad because i really don't get it.

maybe the answer is eating babies..or swallow babies or brown babies..sorry..hope u'll find your answer.. :-)
