I just watched this video,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWloiOJkXoU&eurl=

this is in Hartford, Connecticut, a 78 year old man gets hit by a car, the car runs away and the old man just lay there, there was no one who helped. How can anyone just walk away?? I would expect someone to act immediately.

    they don't give a ****!

  2. Shame. shame on those who could have helped,  and didn't !

  3. Oddly enough, the more people who witness something like this, the less likely someone is to help. It sounds counterintuitive, but that's the psychology of it. It's easy to think "someone else will help" when there's a crowd. It's called the "bystander syndrome," described after the Kitty Genovese case back in 64:

Sadly, if you are hurt and need help, the fewer witnesses means the more likely you are to have someone come to your aid.

And in the hit and run case you just described, four people did call 911 right away, so it's not like no one did anything.

  4. dude, if u were them and possibly ur life was on the line because u snitched on some one u would tell would you

  5. some people are sick and don't help because they can't be bothered or don't care which is wrong.

  6. People don't want to get involved because they're affraid they might get sued if something goes wrong.
