I don't have a bathing suit, and I need something to swim in tomorrow night?

i'm swimming at a sleepover tomorrow night and as i said, i don't have a bathing suit. we've never had a pool so i've never had a bathing suit. i needed some suggestions on what to wear instead because i can't seem to find anything. i'm a pentecostal so whatever it is has to be somewhat modest. i was thinking of getting some board shorts or something like that. does anyone know where i could get some cheap? thanks so much!

Last summer I went up to a lake with some of my friends. Unfortunately, I forgot my bathing suit. I looked for a store nearby and found a Wal-Mart. I found a dark colored sports bra and a tank top. I also found bootie shorts of a similar color. Everybody thought I was actually wearing a bathing suit, so I still use it every time I swim.

(If bootie shorts are not modest enough I would also suggest soccer shorts. They are also at Wal-Mart and everthing I found was actually very cheap.)

If you don't mind wearing something second hand, you could probably get a decent (and modest) suit at a place like Goodwill, Savers, or some other thrift store..

If you want something new, you could check the clearance rack at Sports Authority, d**k's Sporting Goods, etc. or try Target or Wal-Mart.

Just wear a t-shirt and shorts as you probably already have that.

board shorts tend to be expensive but Sports Authority or Big 5 usually has some swimming shorts and tank tops in their swim-suit section.

You can also usually wear just some bike shorts and a sports bra with a tank top over the top, it's fairly comfortable and very modest... and also something you may already have in your drawers.

You might also just want to find a 1 piece swimsuit at Target or WalMart - that would be cheapest if you don't have something already that will do.  If you feel self-conscious, you can always just wear a t-shirt over it.
