I don't have any psychic connections, but I've always been drawn to paranormal.Is there something I'm missing?

You are being drawn to it by demonic spirits. The occult is very dangerous and as a result demons try to seduce people to dabble into the occult because he wants to destroy them. So my advcie is to stay away from the occult. Because if you don't it will only create trouble for you in the long run. As I stated previously the occult is dangerous so don't dabble in it in anyway.

Me too.  It could be that although we're interested in what is a fascinating subject, we're not fantasy-prone.  You should be grateful you don't interpret natural events as having a paranormal cause.  It's a gift that shouldn't be squandered.

You don't have to be able to do something to be able to enjoy it. If that were the case, who would buy art work?

There are people who can paint beautiful landscapes or wildlife and you don't have to do the same to appreciate them.

    Same with the paranormal, you are allowed to enjoy watching it and learning about it without having experienced it yourself. There's nothing missing at all..It's the same as all hobbies in the world.

DUDE.  That is exactly how I feel.  I have heard things, but nothing has ever appeared to me.  It's kind of frustrating, even though at the same time I know I'd be scared shittless if it really happened.  Still, the next day I'd be like WOW and halelujah!!!!  Questions like yours is the only reason I signed on to YahooAnswers...I will tell you, since we've moved into this house (about a year and a half) I've heard a sneeze and a cough (on seperate occasions) all coming from the living room, knocks on the walls, and on one occasion, the knocks progressively made their way down the hall, into the corner of my bedroom, by my side of the bed, then into the closet and it stopped.  It kind of turned into different knocks, like whatever it was against was changing....Anyways, I loved Tom E. answer also  good luck
