I'm 18 and I got my license a few days ago. I wanted to go out later, but I never signed up for insurance or anything. Can I still drive her car? I am a bit confused about how this works.

  1. Your mother's insurance policy should give you the right answer.

Make sure however that you get permission from your mother to drive her car.

  2. Yes you can drive her car as long as she says it is ok and she has insurance.

  3. your mum will need to ring her insurers first to get you added to her insurance policy otherwise you will risk having your license taken off you if you are stopped by the police.

  4. If you have permission from the owner, you should be covered by her insurance.  That is, unless you are specifically excluded in the policy.

  5. there is no a easy solution for your question.however,it is not solvable though.here is the good resource i have been referring.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  6. If you live in the same house and you drive the vehicle in the daily basics you should be added as a driver. If you don't live in the same house you may drive the vehicle occasionally. If you're planning on driving this vehicle on the regular basics you should register, title and get insurance in your name (it'll be more money). If you get into an accident with no insurance your mom's premium will go sky high.
