I am 20 years old and I still don't know how to drive. I plan on moving to California for school after college and I know that I will definitely need my license then. I don't know what to do. My family won't teach me. Can i survive without knowing how to drive. Should I get my license while in NJ (where I live) or should I get it in California?

  1. Yes, lots of people never get a license.

You can always take a course at a driving school, but you'll need a car to take the test to get your actual license.

  2. Have a friend take you to the country.......or a very large vacant parking lot and let you practice........better yet a driving school.......do it quickly........

  3. Learn to drive.  Although it IS possible to live with out knowing that, you are much better off if you do.  I would get it as soon as possible.

  4. Go to a commercial driving school and sign up for lessons.
