I don't have photo shop but how do I place a persons face over anothers for a comedy type birthday card card?

Question

I want to create a series of cards with peoples faces on animals or whole bodies in funny places ie my face on a monkey in a zoo or the wifes mother over the Queens, Me on the centre court at Wimbledon etc. All just for fun, no comercial interest here.

So with what ever programs I have on my computer how do I do it?

I run Vista , have a couple of programs that come with the comp and accessories such as a Canon scanner and Roxio photo suite

Ok, go to google images and search up the places, people or things you want. Save them to your photos. Search and open paint from your start menu. From there you have to import the background into paint. Open up another window while keeping the other paint window open and import an image of you. Use the cut lasso tool to select your face. Right click and copy. Go to your other paint window and right click "paste" then click and drag your face to the desired location.

It is possible to do this with simple paint, would be quicker on a better program though, I am not sure what Roxio photo suite is, but you could give it a go :)

im not sure about that but moonpig have loads of funny cards at a really reasonable price!

paint.net is a great free, photoshop like program.  Download it from www.paint.net

Download and install GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program)

It's as good as photoshop but it's completely free. Make sure you download the Windows version.

Why dont u just get photoshop? Its the best tool for it! The only other way is to use Ms Paint which is in your accesories folder on ur computer, but thats a c**p program and wont create great results!
