I don't hit the heavy bag with gloves on is that a problem?

I don't use boxing gloves when im boxing my heavy bag and just yesterday for the first time ever skin ripped open on my two middle knuckles. is this really all that of a problem cause people are calling me dumb for it.

use wraps to avoid cuts and protect your wrist and bones especially if you plan to follow the sport as a career

just use gloves for round work, for technique dont use gloves

You really need to wrap your hands. It dont matter if you have gloves but WRAP THOSE HANDS TRUST ME. I am 36 and havent boxed since 25 and my hands and wrists still hurt. WRAP THOSE HANDS.

your knuckles arent what you should worry about. It's your wrists and the bones in your hand.  Once you've broken your hand or wrist, it's very hard to recover as a boxer. Your hands are your money maker.....!

Absolutely wrap your hands nice and snug.

you have to wrap your hands and wear gloves because i used to be just like you hitting the heavy bay with no gloves and then my hands stared hurting a lot and know i wear hand wraps and gloves.
