I don't how see how anyone can beat the Cowboys this season...

I mean seriously look how many pro bowl level players they have. They improved their team big time this past offseason. The Giants lost Strahan which was the main reason they won the title. Green Bay also lost their main man in Favre. The NFC has ZERO chance to beat the Cowboys this season.

The Patriots lost Asante Samuel. The Chargers lost Lorenzo Neal who was LT's big blocker and one of the top 3 FB in the NFL. I'm thinking only the Colts have a slight chance this season imo.

Our team won't win EVERY game this year-you have to be a bit more realistic. I do see the pieces in place to win the Super Bowl. But the team will have to keep their focus this season. Last year they peaked too early-after they beat the Packers and got to 11-1; they basically hit the "cruise control" switch.

Then when it came time to play the Giants in the playoffs, they were too sloppy. Eleven penalties. Three critical drops-two likely touchdowns. Simply too many mistakes in a critical game.

I agree Favre's departure from the conference helps the Cowboys a great deal. Dallas, however, still has to deal with perhaps the toughest division in the league. I see 11 or 12 wins, with playoff success hopefully to follow.

Look...they're in the NFC the easier conference of the two and if you say no consider this the AFC 6th seed team was 10-6 and one of the division winners in the NFC was 9-7...clearly the NFC is easier...anyway they haven't won a playoff game since 1996 so how could you say they're a lock to win...people say that all the time about them and they end up losing...for instance everybody said they were the NFC team to beat...what happened in their first playoff game against the Giants....um...they lost...just face it Cowboy fans Romo and the Cowboys choke in the playoffs...

You're right. They should probably go 14-2. That would be my projected record. They are in the toughest NFC division. So you might find one loss from either the Giants (just because they lost Strahan doesn't mean anything, they still have two killers on the ends in Osi and Buck), Redskins, and the Eagles (McNabb is back). They also play the steelers at Pitt in the winter and I don't see them coming out of that one. But they should go deep in the play-offs all though I don't see them winning the superbowl. Yes they have the talent but the distractions will be too much for them with all the ego's on the team.

The Cowboys will have to learn how to mold as a team with all that talent. There are still questions at WR no matter how you look at it if  T.O. goes down they have Witten and then who else? The 2nd reciever is solid but can drop balls when it really counts(so does T.O. at times). On paper they look like they can go 16-0. Strong Saftey play will be a big problem unless they can move anthony henry to that spot by the start of the regular season on passing downs. But I do agree they have all the right ingredients to make a run, but they gotta stay focused and win a playoff game first lol.

lol whens the last time they won a playoff game - get real romo cant handle the pressure in the playoffs. their defense can be passed on - esp roy williams - they have no #2 wr. Probably finish with around 12 wins but another 1 and done in the playoffs - also people get injured its the NFL
