Is anyone else tired when they go to a question on the political section and either the question or several of the answers seem to be littered with "I'm a democrat and even I thought, or I'm a republican and that was" are people afraid that if we don't know there political ideology we will think differently about the way they answered the question or asked the question.

  1. The main thing that I get tired off on Y/A's it that people won't stick to the issues. A lot of people have to say mean things about people and other unnecessary stuff. If everybody would stick to the issues, it would be so much better.

  2. Every one has the right to explain his views in this Q/A forum.

  3. What I grow tired of is how many thumbs down are posted for answering a question as honestly, and sensibly as possible, and that goes for both sides. And thumbs up for positively stupid responses given.

  4. The problem is that Democrats and Republicans have become so similar in their ideologies in recent years.  More or less, they all answer to large business interests and lobbies, who owe no allegience to this country or anything other than the almighty dollar.  This is not the way it used to be back in the day.  The only way to see things change is to limit the powers of corporate interests in politics.

  5. It's just a way to show the other side that maybe their views aren't as sterotypical as they would like to think.  Other times, their answers simply are sterotypical : )

  6. I'm a Democrat and even I think people's party affiliation should go without saying when answering a question.

  7. I can hear the baaing of the sheep all over the country.

  8. Personally I am neither - I cannot wait for the USA elections to be over, fortunately here in England things happen a tad quicker in the hustings.

  9. Avast majority of the American public vote strictly along party lines. That's a simple fact. Prefacing an answer or question by mentioning their affiliation is simply an easier way of saying,"I'm an idiot and can't think for my self". Saves a lot of time.
