I got this bunny a year ago. I don't bond with my bunny because he doesn't like to be taken out of his cage, and when I do take him out he hides under my arms and when he comes out of my arms all he wants to do is hop around my room. How do I play with him? How do I get him to like me? How should I get him out of cage so I don't hurt him? Should I let him run around?

I do have many cats. I got him from a friend when he was eight months old. He is a bunny with floppy ears.

  1. if u want to bond wif ur bunny, i suggest u giv him some carrots maybe buy some toys for him u can get a carrot or any vegetable and put it infront of his face when he is in the cage then he might jump up and down , when he does open the cage door and MAYBE he will come out so take my advice ...

  2. so dont take hin out- let him come out on his own. this will make him feel more confident in his surrounding by allowing him to do it on his own. if he's hopping around your room it sounds like he is playing!  here's a good toy that i make for my bun- get a toilet roll tube, and stuff it really tight with alternating layers of hay, dry food, hay, a treat and more hay! they love it lol!

  3. I have 2 rabbits myself and I've found that a good way to bond with them is by feeding them treats from yor hand. It will make them more comfortable around you. Pretty much just take good care of it.

  4. your bunny is cute x] andd of course you should let him run around!

and make more contact with him, be with him more time, play with him, touch him, feed him, and more important dont leave him in his cage !!

  5. I agree with the treats - the way to your bunny's heart is through his tummy =) sultanas are a good treat cos they are natural and bunnies love them, just don't give him too many cos of the high sugar content! No more than one or two a day.

  6. I dont think you can 'bond' with a bunny, you could make it more tame by feeding it treats, paying attention to your bunny and taking care of its basic needs.
