I need to interview an animal conservationist either online or preferably in person.I'm specifically willing to ask questions on tigers, which are endangered species nowadays. If it is possible, can anyone give me suggestions of how I may contact an animal conservationist? I live in 11368 Corona, New York City. Thank you.

  1. Contact a zoo near you.  Zoos are all about education and animal conservation so if they don't have an animal conservationalist that can speak to you I'm sure they would have a way for you to get the information you need.

  2. Try contacting one or both of these places.  Good luck to you.  Don't put your address on here anymore.  God knows what could happen to you.

  3. I would start with the Indian, and other Asian country's, government to get some facts before I started interviewing "conservationists."  I know from personal experience you will run into some real hard-core bigots among that class.  The governments might downplay the problem, but you should get some comparison numbers.  You can be certain the "conservationists" will claim they are almost gone.

There are some straight conservationists who do good work trying to save some space for the poor creatures being crowded off the earth by the shear mass of human population.

There are also even more extremely prejudiced demagogues running off in counterproductive directions.  In the long run, they can ultimately sacrifice the animals for the sake of their personal political causes.

  4. if you mean a conservation officer try your local dept of forestry of fish and wildlife office you would be talking to one if you phone there office.Sorry didn't read the whole question seen TIGERS .Go to the yellow pages and find zoos or animal farms see if they have tigers.Try Jungle cat world 1-905-983-5016 or www.junglecatworld.com
