I don't know how to do eye make up!

I've experimented over the years and can't find anything I like! My eyes have a ring of green, then brown, with a blue outline (weird, i know). What colors do you recommend? And any tips on applying it to look absolutely fabulous?! Pictures would be awesome too!

p.s. - liquid or pencil eyeliner? I've always used pencil but I'm thinking about trying some liquid? Any thoughts?

Thanks!! :]

  1. You could get away with pretty much any eyeshadow color (except maybe baby blue, not many can pull that one off).  Always start with mascara - black if you have dark eyebrows, brownish black if you have blonde eyebrows.  Try an eggplanty-plum color eyeliner with a taupe eyeshadow, or a dark sable brown eyeliner with a soft pink eyeshadow on the lid and a brown shadow in the crease.

If all else fails, go to a makeup counter at a department store and have them show you some colors and techniques.

  2. black

  3. My eyes are a bluey/green and my eyes look great in light browns or gold colours. It rally brings out the blue in them and doesnt look to much either. try some liquid liner, it's great and doesnt smudge when it's on, it stays on.

    Good luck.x

  4. i think u should go for the dark eyes lighner{black look}

especially cuz u got blonde hair..

    here r sum links,,.!!

  5. i use crayon eyeliner, its kinda like pencil but its way easier to use.

i use dark brown on the top of my eyes, then a dark plum on the bottom,

    it makes my eyes POP.

  6. If I was you, I would go to an upscale department store that sells makeup and ask them to show you how to apply eye makeup. They will look at the shape of your eye and show you the best way, as well as your coloring.  Some eyes need to look either larger or smaller, more opened or closed.

Liquid eyeliner is more tricky to use, especially if you are not used to the product.

It is hard to answer your question without seeing you in person.

  7. Chose a color depending on your face complexion and hair color not so much your eye color.

  8. with green eyes, try using eyeshadow colors that are deeper.

colors like, brown, deep purple, and etc.

colors i would NOT use are bright and obnoxious colors.

you should stay away from blues and pinks.

BUT, some pinks are a hard color to judge and MAY look good.

now for the eyeliner, try liquid eyeliner on the top eyelid.

(thats what i do) it comes out smoother and bolder.

depending on the size of your eye

depends on how thick it should be.

if you eyes are small, do NOT make it thick.

if your eyes are big, its okay for you to make thick lines.

use pencil on the bottom of your eyes.

colors .. you can use black, grey, or chocolate brown.

any of those colors would look good

no, no, no colorful eyeliner colors please.

    i hope this helped. (:

remember: use warm colors for daily makeup.

  9. Ok 1st dont do liqued eye liner it is really bad! second you need to have black eye liner. do it on the top and bottom it will really make your eyes pop! and then do a dark brown eye shadow!!!

    :)

  10. i love both, liquid and pencil.  um....you would probably look great with blues, and greens, and stuff.

  11. I use Wet N' Wild liquid liner.  It works wonders, plus it's really cheap, like $3.00.  I recommend using browns.. it looks amazing on everyone.  Plus it makes your eyes POP.  You can get it at Walgreens, Osco, or Sears Essensials.

  12. a dark color

  13. Ok... let's start with eye shadow...

if you do your eye liner and mascara well, there should be no reason for eye shadow. But if you want to... I suggest a cream shadow, in a light gold shade. It would look fantastic! Then, of course...use a mascara, I recomend the orange one by Cover Girl.

Now... liquid eye liner is really great, but you have to know  how to work with it. It's easy, but there is a certain way of putting it on, so you don't look S****y. I think you should stick with using a easy pencil liner, one that doesn't apply force, so that your eyes don't get red from eritation. K, I'm going to try and make this make since... Um....

k, you know how when you put liner on the bottom part of your eye? And most of the time, you put it on that slimy thing above the bottom skin part? Yeah well, do the same with the top part of the eye lid. Just lift it up, and apply a nice coat of liner right there! hehe, it makes it look wayy pretty, and darker, in a good way!
