  1. no - you need to study how to make a 'bar' chord this is a very common way to play in this case an a-minor. a bar chord basically requires your first finger to cover all the stings essentially forming a 'bar'. once you have that mastered there are a lot of options because the same fingering can be used to get different chords just by changing the position of the bar.

    practice these chords every day and you will build up the needed flexibility quickly.

    bar chords are your friend


  2. bar your 1st finger(index) on the 5th fret on all strings and use your 3rd(ring) and 4th(pinkie) fingers in the 7 frets as you would normaly
