I don't know how to swim and I'm going swimming today,,?

And the guy I like is going to be there. I mean I know how to swim like to keep me floating for a while and I can swim under water but I can't swim over water and stuff. What do I do? And I don't want to not be in the pool while they are.

thats weird, why are you going to the pool if you dont even want to be in there when the guy you like is. its not like its a swim meet you really dont need to swim for real just float around and stay in the 5 feet or 6 feet area instead of the really deep end.

Buy yourself a cheap plastic flotation device......and hang on to it while your in the water. The people who are with you should know your swimming skills are limited....especially if you get in trouble while your in the water. Safety first..........

Make sure you have a buddy and let the lifeguard know.  Stay in the depth in which you are able to safely get up to air.
