I don't know if I like being a teen

Hey. I'm 15 male and I don't mind being a teen but I don't like the stereotypes that go with that.

The story is, I like to have showers because I find them relaxing and I feel better after them.

My step dad said to me yesterday that he thinks I have them so I can "play with myself" which I do not!

Now, every time I have a shower, I feel guilty! It's the first time we've mentioned masturbation, and I really don't feel comfortable with him.

What do I do?

but ignore him, sometimes parents make stupid comments to make us feel embarrased or just to get on our nerves, atleast my dad does that, lol

Parents just get weird when you get that age. Just because they think you are doing it doesn't mean you are and even if you are who cares, but your parents being weird is just kinda a given for most people at that age and just tell them "ok whatever" and take your "relaxing" showers.

Talk to him about it and tell him he really does not know you that well. While some boys might do that you are not one of them and have your own reasons to shower.

Just tell your father that you enjoy showers and don't m********e when taking a shower. He's probably joking and if it really made you that mad tell him. He probably assumed this because he might've done it as an adolescent. If you tell your dad the truth, he'll believe you. Hope this helps.

Tell him to stop being a dirty old man and to stop having dirty thoughts about you in the shower. Make him feel just as uncomfortable as he made you feel. That's how I'd deal with the situation.
