I don't know if my Kitten has Fleas?

My kitten has been with me for a month. I have been finding little brown specks on the sheets in the morning. I read and found out they could be "flea dirt" but she's been to the vet twice and I have looked and never seen any fleas. Should I treat her for fleas anyway? Suggestions....please!

  1. she is probably to young to be treated for fleas make sure to read labels  if shes been to the vet twice she probably doesn't have fleas they would notice and u would she them on her u might just be seeing dirt she tracking around doing kitten things if shes not scratching she dosnt have them but if shes old enough just give her a bath fleas arint a big deal if u catch them right away before to much breeding is done

  2. It wouldn't hurt. Monthly treatments are good preventatives anyways. This will ensure that she won't get them in the future.

  3. Well i had a dog

but a cat is the same thing.

what you should do is go buy some flea shampoo

and then wash him with it. And if there is nothing left on your bed then it means it might have been dirt or fleas.

    GOOD LUCK

    I HOPE THIS HELPS

  4. Well, you didnt say what the Vet said about fleas. Maybe you didnt see them, but did the vet? Wash your bedsheets, and i think I would treat with flea meds.

  5. are her ears clean? i'd think ear mites?

don't treat her with flea medicine over the counter, it's full of chemicals and pesticide junk that's not safe. vet is the best to seek that kind of treatment from unless you research natural remedies well.
