I don't know if this is schizophrenia????

Question

I close my eyes and know someone is behind me, something.

I see "creatures" and a male, something,I don't know what it is... coming out of dark places, even out of people's eyes sometimes.

A person, someone close to me can be walking towards me, but I'll envision that they are crawling.

I'm scared more than anything that this might be a type of schizophrenia.

I have... episodes I guess you could say, that can last for hours at a time of me looking up and seeing something come out of the shadows.

I can't breathe for short bursts; I feel like my heart stops and laughs at me.

I know that doesn't make any sense.

I am young, a teenager.

This has been evolving since my childhood.

I don't know what to think?

yeah this sounds like a type of schizophrenia, but because you are a teenager, im not totally sure that thats what you have. as a teenager your brain is still developing.

sometimes i hear voices, too loud to hear anything else, and i asked my psych about this and she said its quite common in teenagers (im 16).

however, i think you should speak to a doctor about it. it sounds really disturbing for you.

plz go to a  doctor with a  trusted relative of urz ....Better soon tha never , Pal . A doctor will ask u some questions ; just be relaxed and expalin what u've been feeling or having . Do that asap so that this stuff does not grow even more . Good luck!

It does sound like the symptoms of schizophrenia.  Go to the doctor.  And don't worry - schizophrenia is totally fine as long as you take your medication exactly when you are supposed to, for life.  No one even needs to know.

Try to relax when you see something. It almost sounds like you might be having panic attacks.

What you can do is call your doctor and talk to them. Be honest about it. Your doctor may recommend you to a mental health professional or may recommend a drug.
