and the funny thing is that i'm italian!

i've never heard this song before... and like all lirical song, it's very hard to get the right meaning! in opera theatre we use to have little books with lyrics...

i just recognised some words as "cuore che brucia il corpo col suo fuoco" (heart that burns the body with its fire), "stelle" (stars)... but nothing else!

it isn't easy to understand what he sings; it's never easy with opera and furthermore i think the singer is not italian 'cos he has a foreign accent. I understand "il sole che brucia il mondo con il suo fuoco...la luce che illumina sempre nel tempo...raggiungerò il mio giorno" that means: the sun, which burns the world with its fire...the light that always illuminates (?-not sure)...I'll reach my day....

It' a very beautiful song!
