I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota SLT, I am looking to replace a part on the rear of the body. Above all the wheels, (I am looking for the rear wheel) there is a thin, piece that runs along the wheel well. This piece screws underneath (almost under the the bed). Anyway, I was backing into a spot a brushed up against a pillar. Only this piece got scratched up, but I don't know the name of the part. I don't believe it is called the rear fender. I can send a picture to someone if that helps. Thanks in advance!

  1. Hmmmm...I'd call it a wheel well trim.

  2. Wheel well trim , fender flare, wheel trim molding are common names for what I think you are describing.

  3. How about the molding that goes around the fender well.

  4. Check the link, they are fender flares. You might get some at a salvage yard in your color even.

  5. Fender flare.
