I don't know weather the world will "End or Not", still it is better to be prepared?

Surely the world will not end,but think?

'How will you protect "if it ends"?

It all depends on if you practice a religion or not. If you don't, what will you prepare for? Death? In the future, we might just go to another planet or something, lol. I don't know, I'm only 13.

If it did "end", what good would preparing do? You'd die anyway.

By the way, it's not going to end for billions of years. That's pretty much guaranteed. Whether humanity will survive that long is another matter.

I am somebody who likes to be prepared ....

If I am travelling .. I will pack warm clothes and clothes I can wear if the weather is warm.

I can stock up food in my pantry and plan meals in advance and I make my lunch the night before and lay out my work clothes so that they are ready for the nex day ....

BUT .. sometimes there are situations that you really can not waste your time *preparing* for ...I mean WHAT can you do to prepare for the end of the world ? You can't really even plan for what you Might do in the lead up to THE END OF THE WORLD .. because we Don't know IF and When it's going to end ..

I mean look at it this way .. WE ALL KNOW WE ARE GOING TO DIE ( even if the planet doesn't end in 2012) and SOME point.. do you live your daily live now in preparation for the day you are going to die... I know I certainly don't ...

Though If there was a news flash .. saying that there was to be a meteor to hit the earth in 12 hours ..and fair proof of it ... I think I'd go up to the supermarket and buy a lot of PIGGING OUT food .. and scoff it .. LOL ,, that would be about it.

If the world "ends" then, barring having a very, very good spacecraft, you're going to die no matter what preparations you make.

Of course, if you have any religious beliefs, you might want to "prepare" spiritually but whether that is "better" depends entirely upon your personal belief and we cannot answer that for you.

The world-as in planet-will not end. More likely the end in discussion is the end of this age.This period of civilization.It's going to get loud and noisy before it ends.Wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, pestilences, disease, storms, famine and so on.Just like the Bible says.It looks like it's starting now. Katrina. the tsunami. Iraq and Afghanistan, Aids and Ebola. Earthquakes in the U.S., China and So. America. Darfur and Ethiopia and volcanoes, in Alaska, So America.

It's futile to prepare for nothing that's real. The stories about the world ending on 21 December 2012 are so dumb that no one with any logic believes them. Anyone who prepares for that wastes his time. When the world really ends in five billion or more years, there's nothing you can do to prepare for it.

It's all about relative risk, and the costs of 'being prepared'.

Is it possible that the world will end soon? Yes, it's possible. But is it likely? No, not at all.

It is also possible that tomorrow I will discover I am descended from the true king of France, and be crowned in a huge ceremony. However, the chances of that are vanishingly remote, so it's not worth me buying a crown 'just in case'.

Hmmm good question. Well it all depends on what kind of end the world is destined. Sure enough it's us that is killing our planet (global warming) So really there is nothing to prepare for. The planet will eventually heat up causing large bodies of water to dry out plants, trees will burn out leading to our death. To protect yourself how about saving up some energy, Take the bus instead of a car, Carpool, Recycle etc etc.(ECO friendly stuff). If the mega earthquake was to "end" us all then what you can do is have a large suitcase or some sort of sack. In that sack pack bottled water, canned foods or foods that don't spoil, blankets, a radio, a first aid kit, flashlight, batteries, and a whistle. the whistle is just in case your house collapses and the red cross is searching you can blow it and they can come to your rescue. If it's a tsunami then idk it's water nothing you can do but run to a roof. If it's a tornado get the same stuff as an earthquake just have a basement or some sort of underground shed. And if all fails PRAY and PRAY <333 it will all get better soon enough.. Ofcourse I don't think it's gonna happen any time soon if anything global warming but idk the mega earthquake is coming (o: Take care. oh and good luck <333
