I met this girl through a friend on vacation at my cottage. I was really attracted to her and i thought she was too but now i think about it i dont know if there was something there or not. While at the cottage there was alot of smiling, joking laughing between us. It got to the point where she would come to whatever room i happened to be in and would always ask me if i wanted to go out on the boat with her and her best friend which is the friend of mine i invited. Everytime i wasnt near her i caught her looking my way, glancing then looking away when i would look back. I had to leave the cottage for 2 days so we ended up swapping numbers. The day i left i got a text message from her wishing me luck and such including jokes which i thought was some flirting, since it sermed thats what we did at the cottage. I text her back joking back and saying i would be back up there. Her reply was that of see you there! Well something happened involving her and the other girl(my friend) so they had to leave. Its been 3 days later and I want to talk to her but I'm having doubts because she never texted me or told me she had to leave they were gone when I got back. I want to pursue her but she is supposedly dating someone but i think theyre more friends then dating so im confused on if there was attraction or not. What should i do?

  1. It sounds like she liked you, so what do you have to lose?  Call her up and ask her out.  If she turns you down then you will know to move on, if she says yes, then she is definitely interested.  It has to be less anguish to call her up than it is to keep wondering!

  2. Do you have her phone number?

Call her, ask if she's available to date.

    DO NOT TEXT!!!

You need a direct answer to a direct question, otherwise you will end up in a compromised position.

How would you feel if you were her boyfriend and someone else started to pursue her?

If she's dating someone else, she's off limits.........plain and simple.

    Let her make that determination.

    Luck

Yes, she sounded interested, don't doubt your instincts.
