I don't know what this is?

i've had some orangey red discharge over the past few days and i was wondering if it meant something or nothing, i had an antenatal appointment today but it wasn't my usual midwife and i felt stupid asking in case it is nothing, so i didn't. she did say the baby's head is now engaged but that was all.

The only dumb question is the question not asked, you should definitly let the practitioner know Immediatly if only for your piece of mind. It may be nothing, but any information is Important. Good luck and good health to you and your child. Cheers

sounds like it could be your mucus plug or part of it anyway! ring your midwife and tell her now just so she knows.x

Yea, any bleeding what so ever should be addressed during any stage in pregnancy. U need to tell your widwife no matter how dumb u think it might be! oh and BTW, its definitely NOT dumb!

hiya I'm 38+3 days and i was in a similar situation i phoned l+d and they said it sounded as though i wasn't drinking enough fluids, ive since started drinking more water and everything has gone back to normal, hope this helps oh and don't worry about asking midwifes questions that's what there there for. good luck xx
