Well, I last had my period on June 20th. It lasted 5 days like usual. Since then I have not had my July 16th or August 11th (every 26 days). I have also had seven negative hpts. I have no health insurance as of yet, so I can't go to a gyn. I am at my wits end. And to make matters worse, my fiance has made it a point to tell his friends at work and also his family that I am pregnant. His reasoning is because I had some pregnancy symptoms. Granted, I did and still do have nausea, some diarrhea, unusual hair growth, slight cramping, and white discharge. However, all the hpts were negative, even the $15 one!!! I don't know what to do and whether I could still be pregnant or not with all the missed periods. If you have any advice or kind words I could really use it. Thanks.

  1. You need to have a blood test. There's no way around this, and you need to know, for the safety of yourself and your baby. If you're really 8 or 10 weeks along, it would be time to get some of the early tests and ultrasounds done.

Planned Parenthood does $15 blood tests. It's pretty basic (a yes/no answer) but that would be conclusive and then you'd know and could either get some tests done, or visit your OB to see why you've not had your period yet.

Finally, your BF needs to realize the consequences of his actions, so you need to tell him a few things (ie: reality check) about the situation that HE has created. What if you aren't pregnant? What if you are pregnant but then in 2 weeks you have a miscarriage? And how would he feel if he had a low sperm count and you went around telling all your friends that he was 'shooting blanks'? He's been very insensitive. Is he going to tell his buddies the blow-by-blow details of your labor and delivery? I hope not :) LOL

Anyway, have 'the chat' with him now, to save you from possible worse situations later, OK?!

    Best of luck!!!

  2. Go to the doctor have a pregnancy blood test its 99 % accurate and you will know for sure or not..if anything to ease yours and your husbands mind. And also by doing this if you are not pregnant you can discuss with your doctor what else it could be.

  3. can you not just go to your doctor and get a blood test?... why would your husband do that?its so stupid, i would be so annoyed
