I don't know what to do with this virus?!?

Question

Everytime when I'm on the computer it keeps telling me that antivirus has found 50 viruses on your computer and the number just keeps increasing. And sometimes when I'm clicking on a website it leads me to another thing called Insecure Internet activity Treat of virus attack, and also my automatics updates are off too.

So can you help me with this?

The only way to get rid of a virus (actually) is to do a complete reinstall of your OS (operating system).

Back up your files.

Use the Windows installation cd, stick it in, turn your system off then on again.

The system will boot from the cd into recovery mode.

Make sure you select to do a complete reinstall that deletes the partitions.

Don't do a partial install or a repair, in order to get rid of the virus, you HAVE to delete the partition(s)

very simple if you have newly bought your the shop seller will give you a cd disc called (hard disc) if you do not have that disc den u may want to buy norton antivirus or  kaspersky i sugeest you to buy a norton antivirus it may help you to decrease the virus. i use the norton antivirus it helps me a lot it also can protect your computer from other malware function

the websites u click that shows that increse ur virus is all fake, that one is ads they want you to download that program but i ctrongly recommended you to not download any of that virus program it may effect you pc.the best way is to buy a norton antivirus

you should always ON your automatics updates it also prevent some virus to attack your computer

Some times programs install on your computer called spyware and it can cause a hole in your computer for viruses to drop in and adware. When you go to sites it will show an item that may fix your issue but its a way they advertise their program. I use free edition of AVG off of downloads.com and it works better than 70 dollar norton but its free with free updates. Seems to me you be better of reformating your computer either but your system disk or recover cd. Make sure you back up all your information if you can. And i reccomend you get avgcause i been a norton fan for 5yrs and after i got avg for free it helped so much so try that.

That actually sounds like malware, which can be removed (and without having to re-install your operating system).

There's a free program called AVG that will scan for problems, and it will scan your system and should fix the problem.

And the name of your anti virus program is?

There are several FAKE anti-virus programs that tell you that you have a virus when you don't.  One is Anti-virus XP 2008 (or 2009).
